The BC Ministry of Education announced that most students in grades K-12 will return to school on Sept. 8, 2020, with full-time in-class learning as the province moves to Stage 2 of B.C.’s Education Restart Plan.

May 2nd, 2020 was a special day for our District. The BCCPAC student scholarship went to a local student, Christina Lam of Dr. Charles Best, and the George Mathews Award was shared by two very deserving and dedicated parents, including our very own DPAC Treasurer Edward Ram.

B.C. elementary and secondary schools will remain closed indefinitely at the end of spring break because of coronavirus. “The difficult decision has been made to suspend K-12 learning at this time,” said Premier John Horgan at a news conference in Victoria.
Human solidarity is the best cure for COVID 19. Examples: 1) Look out for one another and be reasonable, there’s no need to hoard unnecessary supplies! 2) Ask your neigbour if they need your help!
